Although I used to live in Honolulu, I only recently discovered Hawaii Five-O for the first time, when our local station started showing the original series late at night, probably as a reaction to the making of the reboot. I don’t know why I never tried watching it before—I guess I thought for some reason I wouldn’t like it. (I also recently discovered that I had made a similar mistake with Spam musubi—yum!) Now I have fallen in love, and am sad about all the wasted years.
I write both humor and more serious things such as my ongoing series “The Telephone Rang.” Just a warning—everything I have written so far takes place in a “slash universe”. (That is to say, a universe in which Steve and Danny have a romantic relationship.) This is basically invisible in some of my humor stories, like “He’ll Never Notice”, but if the mere idea of such a relationship offends you, you should probably avoid my fics. I have put an “M” warning on all the stories that have actual sex (where I define “sex” as “anything one couldn’t do in public”).
As a new author I know my work still has plenty of room for improvement, so I definitely welcome any feedback. Also, I am the webmaster for this site, so please email me any questions, at ladyoscar@neverpau.com.
